The new tabs you see in Pantheon Terminal are the new Gtk Dynamic Notebook that
Tom made. I must agree though, it does look pretty ugly in Pantheon Terminal.
About the opening on the right, that is a bug with Granite and the new Dynamic
Notebook.

I agree with Andrea here, Pantheon Files soindslike a horrible name and would
draw back many users.
