I can't +1 or -1 because I don't code in Vala, but in BASH and Python I use

it's mind-blowingly extensible; it's a base for the work-in-progress Vala
IDE and, going forward, a shared component for a set of language- or even
project-specific IDEs.

That aside, file a bug against the poor wording. The current English is
too long and confusing.

Okay, ulatencyd with my configs has landed to ISO daily builds. It should
be enabled by default in yesterday's and newer builds.
The expected effect is smart resource allocation, so software updates or
any other background jobs don't interfere with your work and music player
keeps playing music
My ulatencyd configs are now available from the Testing
PPAhttps://launchpad.net/%7Eelementary-os/+archive/testing,
ulatencyd-configs-elementary package. Please test and report results,
both positive and negative.
