Okay, ulatencyd with my configs has landed to ISO daily builds. It should be enabled by default in yesterday's and newer builds. The expected effect is smart resource allocation, so software updates or any other background jobs don't interfere with your work and music player keeps playing music

Hi Cassidy, thanks for your reply! Yeah, priority by focus is a great idea. And so simple. Ingenious things are always simple :D I have a proof-of-concept implementation, but it conflicts with prioritizing apps by default with ulatencyd because it sets priority to higher-than-normal value on
