Hi,
Someone know what is the minimal voltage to supply the MinnowBoard MAX?
I'm going to use a UPS system and when the power goes down on the change
from the wall power to the battery the voltage goes down to something near
4.435v during the 10ms of the transition.
Thank you,

Hi,
I was trying the first boot from the MAX but I can't see anything on my
monitor.
I'm using a HDMI to VGA convertor and I think this is the problem.
I have a Raspberry PI here and had the same problem.
What I had to do is change some of the boot files to force the use of HDMI.

Hi guys,
I was trying to boot on the MAX using a live USB of Lubuntu.
Just after the desktop load (when I can navigate on Lubuntu) the

What I notice was that the board was getting hot... I don't know if
Hi guys,
I just would like to know if is ok if the CPU is working at 90ºC.
I'm just testing the MAX... I put one movie playing (full HD)... Its using
all the CPU to play it.
The good thing is that the MAX play it wonderful! xD

Hi guys,
Same thing with the 3.14.1. This is the last Trusty. Should I try the 3.15,
3.16 or 3.17 Utopic?

Jeremy,
Did you updated the firmware?
How can I do that? I saw on the uefidk.com site but is too complicated
(compared with the Original board).

Ok,
After trying to follow the instructions I can say: I can`t do it...
I see that the 0.71 firmware have the .efi file, but the 0.73 doesnt. This
is still in development? I shouldn't use it?
Could someone send the 0.73 compiled files? (I'm using the dual core
version)

Hi guys,
I installed the Windows 10 and updated the firmware to the 0.73.
Using the software RealTemp I got 83ºC with VLC and the same movie.
What temperatures are you guys getting?
Is this temperature normal for the MBM or is something wrong with my board?
Thanks,

Hi guys,
I put a fan on the MBM, a 12v small fan on J2. It uses 0.06A on 5V.
Just with that I reduced the temperature from 90 to 60 (it doesn't go above
that). Thats on Windows 10 and Ubuntu.
Thanks for the help,

Arne, did you checked the polarity of the J2?
On the docs say that pin 1 is ground and pin 2 is 5V. But in my board is
inverted. The pin 2 is ground and pin 1 is 5V.

On the error page I could go to the bios (exit).
