Hi All,
Attached you will find a new icon for Emacs. This is just an idea, so
don't blame me for it, I am not an "artist" ;-)
There are two variants: with a transparent background (image names
with "-t" suffix), and with a light gray gradient background. Included
are 48x48 and 16x16 pixels image

I have to correct myself: Firefox uses its own tooltip-size on both
w32 and on GNOME 2.10 (Ubuntu).

This change breaks non-window system builds because OVERLAPS_PRED and
OVERLAPS_SUCC, used in dispnew.c, are defined in a HAVE_WINDOW_SYSTEM
conditional section in dispextern.h.

Whatever! I really like these icons :-)
They look good with 24bit color. I wonder if they would still be
readable with 8 bit or lower displays though.

I've done this. I'll try to remember to move ChangeLog to ChangeLog-2005 at
the end of the year.
Please don't do that. I don't think it is a good idea to make
a split so close to the current date, or close to the release
(if it has not happened yet).

This is the completion-ignored-extensions feature at work.
.pdf is ignored; .ps is not, because (the idea is) that's a language
people sometimes edit.
In fact, nearly all .ps files are generated by programs, just as .pdf
files are. Should we add .ps to completion-ignored-extensions?
___
Did you make sure mh-loaddefs.el is regenerated for releases?
It should be included in the release.

Bob sent me this bug report for the current CVS version of Emacs about
three dots disappearing in the Info display (they are present in the
actual .info file). It doesn't happen in 21.3.
Can someone look at it, please?
Thanks,

Hi Juri,
Or maybe there is a filling bug in the makeinfo program so that it
It is not a bug in makeinfo -- there is whitespace in the input, and
that (almost) always means it's ok to break a line in the output. It's
just doing what the user said to do.
Please fix Emacs. It was fine in 21.3

is quite an old feature and can be observed in the released

produce different results than the previous Emacs releases,
