Thanks Chuck for setting this through. I've never been happy at how Babel arranged the inter process communication with R including the need for cleaning up the output with scary regular expressions like this. Also there are some of uses of temp files that sometime cause of bugs especially

[O] visual-fill-column-mode with org

I would like to use visual-fill-column-mode with my org files. However, this has a peculiar problem that org tables also start wrapping at fill-column. Does anyone use visual-fill-column-mode with org and has found a way of telling it to ignore lines starting with a |? Thanks, Vikas
