[O] searching properties, not tags

From what I have seen, most of the org-mode manual documentation about searching or matching tags and properties is about the former, rather than the latter. How would I search out all the headlines that have a property of a certain value? For example: ** Tigger :PROPERTIES: :species:

Well, that put me on the right track. I wasn't looking for a persistent custom search command, just one I could execute ad hoc, since sometimes I'd be looking for tigers and sometimes for bears, etc. But with this to go on, I found that C-c a m species=tiger does what I want. Previously, my
