A different idea.
Here are the problems with going l/r:
1) slow
2) you did it by mistake
3) you don't know where you are
These can be fixed using the minibuffer. It looks like this
if you use a 7 day agenda and press right arrow 3 times.
Press RET to go 1 week ahead to the week startin
1. Yes.
2. Abstain.
