Take a look at ox-bibtex.el in contrib [1], which adds support for bibtex citations. The commentary at the top of that file explains the usage, but in brief, ox-bibtex adds cite: links which will export to HTML, ASCII and LaTeX (using bibtex2html [2] for HTML export, and pandoc [3] for ASCII
