;-)) he suggested i take this question to the orgmode list. Does anyone
use/know how to bookmark orgmode ids and not just location in a file? i
find that bookmarking locations is very un-reliable as i keep adding

Apparently fixed in Org-mode version 8.3beta (release_8.3beta-1288-ga98553)
Its changelog says it's abandoned, it doesn't really do anything, and it
clashes with [1]. Rip it out.
