This bug seems to be related to the presence
of TAB characters in the table.

I am a happy new user of Org-mode version 6.17trans.
When processing lists in this mode, it seems that Org-mode gets
trapped if in the list there is some quoted latex texts, as in:
1. My first option
2. My second option
#+BEGIN_LaTeX
some difficult latex here
#+END_LaTeX
1. ---
