 Hi, all

I have implemented org-jira.el, bringing org-mode and Jira system
 together.

Wrote a Wiki page for it on emacswiki:
 http://www.emacswiki.org/emacs/OrgJiraMode

Hope somebody find it useful, if he/she is also using Jira and loves
 org-mode.

[O] print booklet from orgmode

2011-05-16 Thread Marc Spitzer
I do not know how to do this but it struck me as useful:

Easily print your to-do list as a foldable booklet that you can put in
your pocket. Each booklet contains your hotlist, your top 110 most
important tasks, and a section for written notes. Assembly of the
booklet is as simple as one cut with a scissors and a few folds.

Does org mode have such a feature?

Thanks,

marc

 Hi Jonathan,

when you are finished with the implementation, we could
 make this a contributed package.

This simple little package adds a jira link type to org mode, so you can
have a hyperlink like [[jira:ticket]] that will automagickally open the
Jira ticket with Dave Benjamin's Jira package.

I'll be doing reverse links soonish.  Later on I'll be looking at ways to
import a Jira Ticket list as a series of TODO items.

I'm also open to any suggestions.

 Enjoy!

Re: [Orgmode] checkbox statistics

2009-04-26 Thread Marc Spitzer
Would it be possible to have both behaviors? I could see times when
both would be useful. For example I would find it very useful to see
something like this:

** TODO [0/2] [5/10 s]

saying that of 0 of my 2 major tasks are done and half of my leaf node
tasks are done. The tralling 's' is for summery. The same for %
done, perhaps something like '/s' and '%s' or '/+' and '%+' or just
two new identifiers.

Hello, currently checkbox statistics only takes into account checkboxes
on a single indent level.  I would prefer checkbox statistics to show
the total number of checkboxes below them, regardless of level.

 Currently:

 ,
 | ** TODO [0/2] job
 |    1) [-] 1
 |       * [X] a
 |       * [X] b
 |       * [X] c
 |       * [ ] d
 |       * [ ] e
 |    2) [-] 2
 |       * [X] a
 |       * [X] b
 |       * [ ] c
 `

 What I would like is:

 ,
 | ** TODO [5/10] job
 |    1) [-] 1
 |       * [X] a
 |       * [X] b
 |       * [X] c
 |       * [ ] d
 |       * [ ] e
 |    2) [-] 2
 |       * [X] a
 |       * [X] b
 |       * [ ] c
 `

 Is it possible somehow?

 Thanks,
 Richard
