I believe this comes from the Org shipped with your version of Emacs.
What is your Emacs version? What does org-version tell you *before* you
load Org or open an .org file? I bet it is 7.xx or older.

Before loading an org-file the versions are:
GNU Emacs 23.3.1 (x86_64-pc-linux-gnu, GTK+ Version 2.24.10), Org-mode
version 8.2.2 (release_8.2.2-181-gf31eb4

and after loading an org-file
GNU Emacs 23.3.1 (x86_64-pc-linux-gnu, GTK+ Version 2.24.10), Org-mode
version 8.2.2 (release_8.2.2-181-gf31eb4

I get the strange behaviour with this versions. And I cant see why this
would be an issue.

But of course if I exclude the load path to the git version in my .emacs I
get (before and after loading an org-file):
GNU Emacs 23.3.1 (x86_64-pc-linux-gnu, GTK+ Version 2.24.10), Org-mode
version 6.33x.

Are you referring to that the version 6.33 is interfering with the 8.2.2
version, even though I am loading version 8.2.2 in my .emacs?

[O] Customize group, strange behaviour of group org export latex

2013-11-08 Thread Rasmus Rempling

Hello,

I have a question about latex export option and its customization.

If I browse the org export latex group directly after opening emacs and
a .org file the list only give Option Org Export and it looks like this
(observe that I have not done latex export yet:

   | [ ]-- Group Org Export XML
| [-]-\ Group Org Export LaTeX
| | |--- Option Org Latex Default Packages Alist

Re: [O] linebreak after tag of headline in ox-latex.el

2013-10-31 Thread Rasmus Rempling

Sorry for the delayed answer.

Yes, you are right, sort of. In my set-up, the todo ended up as a
paragraph environment. I have changed my export class in order to export
the todo as a subsection or subsubsection. This gives the correct
result. My error is of course in line with the latex paragraph
environment being a one-line. However, I used the same .cls file before
the update and if I revert back to the earlier version the error is not
produced.

After upgrading to (Org-mode version 8.2.1, GNU Emacs 23.4.1 ) the
deadline and schedule is not linebreaked after the tag. This gives
a unwanted output with all task information on the same line.

I cannot reproduce this. Do you use some special class sectionning
format?

[O] linebreak after tag of headline in ox-latex.el

Hello,

I export frequently minutes with todos with latex to pdf. I always

deadline and schedule is not linebreaked after the tag. This gives a
unwanted output with all task information on the same line.

Without knowing if it is the most appropriate solution I propose adding
\n in the last row of:

(defun org-latex-format-headline-default-function
(todo todo-type priority text tags)
Default format function for a headline.
See `org-latex-format-headline-function' for details.
(concat
(and todo (format {\\bfseries\\sffamily %s} todo))
(and priority (format \\framebox{\\#%c} priority))
text
(and tags
(format \\hfill{}\\textsc{%s}\n (mapconcat 'identity tags :)

, in order to get a better output of the task todo. I tried the above
and compiled and got the output as I wanted. However, I don’t know if
there are any inconvenience by doing so.

I confirm that the fix works on v. 7.8.06.

Thank you!

I have tried two different background/foreground with the same result
(black/white and reverse).

This should be fixed now, please confirm.

As a workaround

If you don't clone from master/hotfix, you can set
`org-agenda-columns-show-summaries' to nil as a temporary
workaround.

Thanks to you and Nick for reporting this!

I confirm that the workaround works. The date is not missing. However,
putting the show-summaries to nil omits the summation of effort and
clock, which are in the same row.

I dont clone. Is the faulting summation only a problem of the workaround?

Thank you for looking into this.

Is there more users having the same problem? And if anyone could help
