Your remark reminds me an emacs-lisp tweak I introduced for org8.3 export process, and it seem I have to revise it. It works now. I tried this and (after installing the texlive-algorithmicx package on
my Fedora system) it works fine.
Once more: what does the "*Org PDF LaTeX Output*" say?
