We are in need of an Artesia Architect/Lead Developer for a 6 month contract with one of our direct clients in Chevy Chase MD. The rate is around $60 on corp. to corp. basis.
Job description: Candidate will have at least 5 to 7 years as architect in a large enterprise environment (s) utilizing the Artesia Framework. Preferably this person will have come from a solid java development background customizing Artesia and associated elements * Must have experience with designing and implementing DAM hosting infrastructure, Artesia Clustering, Artesia content migrations. * Must have experience designing integration points for multiple Artesia based applications. As well as experience with implementation of Portals utilizing both Artesia and customizations for integration of applications * Must be able to give direction on high-level enterprise architecture roadmap that focusing on key areas including taxonomy, object model, best practices, and integration with other non Artesia based internal systems. * Preferred experience in the broadcast industry, but at a minimum must be able to demonstrate knowledge of best practice with a broad range video formats and transcoding of assets within the Artesia framework * Must have experience with troubleshooting within an Artesia environment. This would all supporting infrastructure including tools to troubleshoot, web server, database query performance and application server * Technical skills - XML, Java, JSP, Java Servlets, Struts, Artesia 5.7+, JBOSS, Apache web server, Artesia performance tuning, Oracle SQL, shell scripting, stored procedures, UNIX (Solaris) administration, database administration/performance tuning * Must have experience leading a team in an enterprise environment of a minimum 3 to 5 developers as well as strong communication skills for team and business customer interaction We Appreciate your business, Sam S Dut JInfo Systems Inc.
