Hi,
You have to escape the or Embperl will think it is a html tag and
remove it from your source unless you have set that option to not clean
your code from html (don't remember exact one now, see man page).
Escape this way:
@lines = \;
And, as Angus pointed, use semi-colons...

embperl dont open new file.
