RTAI mainline only supports kernel 4.1 (at the time of this email) but
modifying a few bits of the tree and grabbing code from here:

I have been toying with an image that was built for Jessie on an RPi.

Has their been any progress on creating installable images for any of the
Debian releases newer than Wheezy (like Jessie)? I understand that some people
have succeeded in building for it but I am interested in something more like a
Live iso image..
