It would need to be rebased onto the v2.5 branch. I've done it before
without too much pain, since most of my changes are in the trajectory
planner. However, my dev branch is kind of messy, so I'd prefer to clean
everything up before making a 2.5 version.

I think I just fixed the build issue. As Sam mentioned, the
circular-blend-arc-alpha branch is the one you want.

I am intending to test the new arc-blending with my Sherline mill by engraving
pcb's.
I am using Lubuntu 12.04 with the 3.4.55-rtai-2 kernel and LinuxCNC-2.6.0~pre.

go back to commit 7709c21 from the 27th - I know that built.
