Hello, I'm interested in being able to use the iPhone as a UI for EMC. Before I go ahead and reinvent the wheel, I'd like to check whether anyone else is working on anything similar. My plan is to use OSC as the messaging protocol. This would enable the use of the existing TouchOSC iPhone

Neil, I just got a Nokia N900 (see: http://www.nokian900.com/) and was toying with the idea of doing something similar for that. It uses Linux Maemo which is a Debian derivative and completely open source. I don't really know much about development for the iPhone (other than the n900 kicks its

Well, if one uses OSC as the protocol, there's nothing to develop for the iPhone, because there's already a great UI app that uses it. It would only be necessary to develop the EMC part. If there's not already an OSC application for the Nokia, it shouldn't be too hard to make one. Here's a link
