courts. As far as I know, there have not been any cases which looked to
hold non-Europeans responsible to the extent they would be fined or serve
jail time. If it is a major problem we can expect

This ongoing discussion of self certification brings to the surface
several issues...
In applying the CE marking to equipment, the manufacturer must sign
the Manufacturer's Declaration of Conformity. In doing so, it must include
a list of the Directives and Standards
