The following update is based on the discussion with a CNCA representative
>from its certification department during the VCCI International Forum 2008
held March 7, 2008 in Tokyo, Japan.
 
In-Country Testing
In-country testing is no longer a requirement as long as a country-to-country
MRA is signed.  The first country to take this advantage is New Zealand.
 
WLAN
CCC certification is not mandatory for WLAN except for those products sold to
Chinese government.
 
China RoHS Catalogue
Fomulation of this catalogue has not been started.  The possible items to be
included in the first release is more likely to be components.
