Except under special circumstances, the USNEC does not use color coding for
phase conductors.  There are reserved insulation colors for ground (green,
with one or more yellow stripes) and for neutral (white or "natural gray"
[whatever that is]).  Otherwise, your free to use whatever color you find
aesthetically pleasing, provided there is no confusion about what conductor
should connect to where.  If your product requires a particular phase
ordering, this should be identified on a wiring diagram and labeling of the
connection points.

Is there a standard color coding for 120/208V 3 phase wiring inside a
product for U.S. use only? The product in question is ITE and I can find
nothing in UL 1950 about color coding other than green/yellow must be used
for ground. Thanks in advance for your help.
