Hello Kevin, Yes I can confirm that a new Law was passed in September 1997 to permit self declarations from Czech registered companies. However, DoC's must be made against the Czech national (CSN) implementations of the CENELEC Safety and EMC stds.
I've included an extract on this subject from Vol.1 Iss.6 of The tics Newsletter : Safety : Technical & Regulatory .... - TestCom to accept CB Reports The Czech Republic's telecom test house, TestCom, has recently confirmed that they will now be able to start accepting CB Safety Test Reports to satisfy the Czech Laws governing Telecommunications apparatus. The move comes amid the revised EMC and Safety Law, 22/97 Gaz. This Law now permits Czech Registered Businesses to make a Declaration of Conformity to the Czech national Safety and EMC requirements for non-Telecom equipment. Confusion unfortunately still reigns over the old Federal requirements applicable to Telecom. Can anybody confirm or deny?
