To those knowledgeable with CISPR 24 Ed. 2 development,

I just received notice that CISPR 24 Ed. 2 FDIS has been released for sale
while being voted on (voting period: 2010-06-11 to 2010-08-13). This came as a
bit of a surprise to me in that CISPR 35 was on the distant horizon to replace
CISPR 24.

>From this, I have a couple of questions.

- What are the expectations of the final voting result?

- What changes/requirements does Ed. 2 present over Ed. 1, or does it only
incorporate Ed.1 and its amendments?

- When would the national committees be anticipated to adopt/incorporate CISPR
24 Ed.2 into national standards/requirements (adept crystal ball viewing
allowed)?

- Is CISPR 35 development now in limbo?

I’m sure that others in the group would also want to be updated.

I look forward to your replies.

Best regards,

Ron
