Hi John
We do have a Kalmus that we use and also have the manuals for it.
Will look Monday and see if I can get the pinouts.
Which connector number is the one you are talking about and model number
of the amp?

Mac

Hello colleagues,
Does anyone know the general changes in the update to CISPR 22 released in
version 6 that was just circulated as a draft?
May consider purchasing it if changes are significant, but would rather wait
until it is published if possible.

Hello Colleagues
After rain on an OATS, what are your typical guidelines for the resumption of
test?
I worked with one great engineer on this board at one time who had seen
dramatic differences on his OATS after rain and would shut down until the next
day when the site was dry.

This may be a good lead in to a question that I had regarding that amendment.
I haven't had the opportunity [or need] to really compare directly, but at
first glance it seemed that the Amendment 1 to 61000-4-3:2006 may be similar
to Annex D in IEEE 1309.
Does anyone know if this is the case or i
Does anyone out there know of a good source to rent / lease or buy a used one

A colleague has told me that they have found EM Test to be very user friendly.
I have had good experience with California Instruments equipment in the past as
well.
Not sure how either compares to the Agilent System mentioned though

Does anyone know the current status of the release of the latest revision of
ANSI C63.4?
It was still in comment phase during the Symposium in Detroit but was expected
to publish this year I believe.

Which brings up a point just to add for accredited labs that do this
in-house. I agree that it is a characterization and not a calibration,
My understanding is that if you do this in house you may have make sure

Our cal guys are telling me that they are having a hard time finding a
lab that can do 17025 accredited calibrations for our Davis Weather

Any suggestions?

Season's Greetings to all
I agree with this - have had success with it in the past.
Minimizes effect to RI setup as well of moving absorbers in and out.
Leave as calibrated.
I did a correlation study with a reference radiator to develop the
correlation factor to the OATS

Ahh; if you were in the Northeast I had a couple of suggestions. The
only place I've dealt with getting ISO 17025 accredited calibration in
the RH sensor can be verified using the

Hello Group
I got a question from a lab thinking about performing dual antenna mast testing
for radiated emissions in a 3m semi-anechoic chamber.
I have questions about doing this due to antenna coupling, especially below 1
GHz, and also whether or not this configuration would pass CISPR SVSWR

Does anyone out there [if any equipment reps on list] have an OPHIR 5127F
amplifier for 12 month lease or rental?
We used a similar one for years and suited our immunity test setup very well.
Calibration fields were easily repeated prior to testing. Very stable amp.

Hello group,
A colleague of mine mentioned that he had seen a "stand-alone" EMI chamber at a
test lab. One of the obstacles we have in getting a chamber is the lack of
space in our building and he thought this may be a good solution to our dilemma.
I am not aware of any chambers that do not req
your turntable, power cables, etc. That way you
can roll large or heavy equipment into the chamber without using an elevator or
have to go up steps. Just my 2 cents.
