It's been many years (decades) since I've dealt with the differences in provincial code requirements, but I'm aware of the fact that's a pitfall to watch out for. Hi Charlie and RIch, I ran across a Field Evaluator named ETI Conformity Services eti Conformity Services <https://www.eticonformity.com/en-us/> that is accepted by AHJ’s in Seattle and other areas. They had accreditation from International Accreditation Services, which I hadn’t heard of before IAS: Field Evaluation Body Accreditation (iasonline.org) <https://www.iasonline.org/services/field-evaluation-bodies/> This website has a search function that claims to find organizations by location to fit your needs. This is new to me, I thought only NRTL’s or their subcontractors could do Field Evaluations. Am I the only one in the dark? I'm aware that the major NRTLs offer this service apart from their NRTL accreditation, so I'm asking for other referrals for smaller service providers. The scope is for USA and Canadian installations and this company would like that source to provide engineering review of the product in question in advance of the inspection, as well as the inspection itself and tag as needed.
