Greetings All,

For those who are interested in Product Safety, Technical Committee 8 (TC-8,
Product Safety TC in the EMC Society) is hosting a technical workshop. The
workshop is part of the 2004 IEEE EMC Symposium that is being held in Santa
Clara, CA from Aug 9 - 13, 2004. The TC-8 Product Safety Workshop is
scheduled for Friday Aug 13, 2004.

The workshop schedule is posted below. As you can see, we have excellent
speakers and planned presentations. The speakers are well known in their
respective fields. If you want to get to know them better, ask questions and
mingle with the best them, this is your chance. If you have not registered
for the 2004 IEEE EMC Symposium, please do so at your earliest.

As an added benefit to the Product Safety community, the newly formed IEEE
Product Safety Engineering Society (PSES) is also holding their first
symposium. It is to be held from Aug 13 - 15, 2004 at the same location as
the 2004 IEEE EMC Symposium. The TC-8 Product Safety Workshop ends the EMC
week with Product Safety, but kicks off an exciting weekend of Product
Safety presentations and exhibits for the PSES. That's synergy!

Check both EMC (http://www.emc2004.org/) and PSES
(http://ewh.ieee.org/soc/pses/) websites for registration. Also, note the
discounted registration fee for PSES when you register for the EMC first.

Hope to see all our fellow safety engineers at the TC-8 Product Safety
Workshop and at the PSES Symposium.

Best wishes,

Richard
