Dear Richard, The location of an agent maybe not important as the CCC application process is online. CQC (the only CCC certification center for ITE)mails out CCC certificates worldwide, through international express mail (EMS), without additional charge to an applicant. Best regards, Grace

I think that www.standardsportal.org may offer some assistance (The site is run by ANSI). Simply select Peoples Republic of China from the drop down menu on the left and it will provide you with a fairly good overview of the different agencies in China and how they interact with each other. I

Hi Rich, The US government has been very concerned with products exporting to China, so they put together a very concise web page summarizing the CCC process: http://www.mac.doc.gov/China/Docs/BusinessGuides/cccguide2.htm It is in English, and it is a good launching pad to pertinent CCC sites.
