Chaz, Emission compliance is mandatory for all products, whereas immunity is generally voluntary. There are however cases where immunity may be required. Refer to http://www.sma.gov.au/spectrum/comply/emc/ and http://www.sma.gov.au/spectrum/comply/emc/standard.htm#Immunity for details. Regards
