Thank you John and Boštjan for your replies. I'm glad internal power supplies
fall under the 4.1.1 clause, because beyond that there are no class 3 energy
sources and very few class 2 in the products I'm transitioning.
I'll think about how to handle the labelling.

1) Yes, this rule/exception is also applicable for internal power
supplies. The duration of transition period depends on voting result of
circulated document (amendment to EN 62368-1:2014).
2) EN 60950-1 also has a requirements that symbols need to comply with IEC
60417
