Agreed, try just swapping over the firmware and see if that fixes the
problem. I suspect it will be something simple like this, are you sure the
parallel port is setup ok?

I'm currently leaning towards the CPLD issue. I've verified (by chip part #)
that the board is indeed a 200K.
I've got a couple JTAG probes, but I don't think I've got one
