I was inspired by Rainer to move from hal_joystick to hal_input.
I didn't use the joyhandle component specified in the wiki, and used a
config similar to the Remote_Pendant config in the wiki.

My configuration is based on hal_joystick and this is what isn't loading.
I've tried on the previous version to get my joypad working with hal_input
but just couldn't get it to work, hence the use of hal_joys

followed the WIKI and it worked right of the bat. I'm now jogging

I just upgraded from emc2.2.8 to emc2.3 and it will not startup with my
Logitech Joypad configuration.
I use this command in my custom.hal file to load the joypad:
loadusr hal_joystick -d /dev/input/js0 -p joypad
I reverted back to emc2.2.8 and it works.
