The knot is topside, I guess. Down under, I've had 205 messages today,
on half a dozen lists - over double the norm for a Sunday. Good thing my
filters sort out a lot of the boring stuff.

Now if I had a filter for bits of falling tree, it wouldn't hurt.
Compared to the monster which came close to the bedroom window a few
months ago, the treetop which last night fell over half the road and a
bit of the front garden was titchy - only 14" diameter by 15' long. But
it was snagged 10' up in a tree, so I had to tease it out of that without
body parts in the way, before going in with the chainsaw. Still, it adds
to the firewood pile, and I'm taking from the other end of that already.

[Emc-users] Something is sure odd, traffic is VERY SLOW

Greetings folks;

I'm getting about 5% of the usual traffic since early Friday afternoon.
On any of the 40 or so lists I am subscribed to. At 8AM, 4 unread 
messages since about 20:00 last night.  Not counting the 10 or so 
messages from the system that it did this or that with the usual 
results.

And no one has announced they are going fishing...
