linuxcnc with sudo, which you SHOULD NEVER do.

I'm not running linuxcnc as root but as an ordinary user. But the config is
stored in another users home.

After loading a g-code file in axis gui I move the tooltip to the workpiece and
touch off with 0.
But the loaded path doesn't shift towards the tooltip. Indeed it doesn't shift
with any touch off value on any coordinate.
Should be a configuration error?
