It is true, what you say -- I think perhaps old list serves, like bulletin
boards before them, and perhaps group blogs are more conducive social media
to have a conversation around/about -- when things get serious (thoughtful,
considered, etc.) my experience is that they go either more private
(msg/txt style - even if image, sound, more than that being exchanged) or
more public, since in some forums there is a place for refinement, and in
some, not.
