It's licensed under MIT:
I just open the page in the browser and on mobile it works completely fine.
There's no need for an app if that's an issue

After investingating Discourse esterday, I do have some objections
that I think should be considered. Though the software itself is free,
the mobile app is proprietrary and the Android version has a hard
dependency
on the proprietary Google Chrome app. I don't think we should force
developers
I think we're trying not to diverge from upstream, otherwise we'll need
to maintain a branch. I've submitted a PR though to upstream for a
config there.

Great to see!
I am having some trouble logging in with LDAP. It says
"Sorry, there was an error authorizing your account. Perhaps you did
not approve authorization?"
I am trying to log in using the "bastiani...@gnome.org" account.

Hi all,
News on the Discourse front - this is now live! Have a visit at
https://discourse.gnome.org
You can log in via LDAP, or sign up with email/google/github.
I am all in for using discourse and I am really looking forward to it! I
really like the interface.

Great, that's already available:

I agree, doing a mass invite would be better imo.
And it would be great to incorporate GNOME SSO with the different Discourse
boards (is that the correct term?). It will be one less password to have to
remember :-)

I can possibly work out how to migrate the subscriptions, though it may
be more polite to do a bulk invite rather
I’m excited to see the changes in the Management List :D

I brought this up in Telegram but didn't receive any objections.
The GTK team are moving to discourse and I asked Neil if he could move
us as well. Mailman is a sad anachronistic technology to be sent to
the garbage bin. As well, maintenance is a pain because of all the
