I noticed that on the 2.0 branch of enigmail, the Autocrypt OpenPGP certificate minimization wasn't cleanly matching the expected User IDs. It also wasn't being tested.
I wrote a brief series of patches that improves certificate minimization and adds it to the test suite: https://gitlab.com/enigmail/enigmail/merge_requests/24 I'll probably adopt those changes in the Debian packaging to make sure that the replacement of OpenPGP.js with GnuPG is still functional, but i'd welcome those changes upstream on the 2.0 branch as well. please let me know if you see any problems with that series! --dkg
