Unfortunately it does not work (yet) properly on Thunderbird beta and newer, thus I'm using the integrated "Remote Debugging" feature that's part of recent Thunderbird and Firefox versions (in short: it works like debugging Firefox OS; you just launch Thundebird instead of Firefox OS).
