 Hi,

Thanks for the replies from Patrick, Sebastian and Nicolai. (I
don't really understand the comment about standard for showing /
hiding columns in Thunderbird but that doesn't really matter.) I
do know how to change the display in Key Manager now and clearly,
other people do not find the problem I have.

I know about resizing column widths using the mouse to move the
borders. I also know about the horizontal slider which appears at
the same time as the 'Name' column shoots out of sight on the
left-hand side - unfortunately the slider only lets me move further
 to the right.

I'll attach a couple of screenshots to illustrate my problem.

KeyManager1.png : shows the key manager window with 4 columns :
Name, KeyID, Type, Key Validity. I have adjusted the column widths
nicely and there is plenty of room to the right of 'Key Validity'
for the next column to be added. There is no horizontal scroll bar.
 All seems well.

KeyManager2.png : shows what happens immediately after asking for
'Owner trust' to be displayed. 'Name' has disappeared far left.
The horizontal scroll bar has appeared and can only move the
display to the right (because the new column, Owner trust, has been
drawn far too wide). I haven't done anything else than ask for
 Owner trust to be displayed.

I really don't see your problem -- except that your default column
widths seem to be corrupt. Just start with the key validity column
and make it smaller, then do the same with the owner trust column.

This same problems happens if I select any one of Owner trust or
Expiry or Fingerprint. Each of those, alone, is drawn with a
column width so large that 'name' disappears to the left and cannot
be brought back in. The horizontal scroll bar can be moved to the
right but eventually all I am left with is a clear window. There
doesn't appear to be a way of dragging the right edge of the very
wide column towards the left to reduce its width.

There is ... you have to drag the column border on the _left_ side of
the rightmost column to make it smaller (not my decision --
Thunderbird standard functionality...)

Yes. Please open the Enigmail key manager: Menu OpenPGP - Key
Management. Check the Display all keys by default checkbox. Make
sure the column key validity is visible. Sort by validity by
selecting the key validity column. Scroll down until the revoked
keys are visible. Select the first key line marked revoked. Scroll
down until you see the last revoked key. Mark with Shift click. Now
all revoked keys in your keyring should be selected. Right click -
Delete key.

Attention: NEVER EVER delete your own secret revoked key(s) if you
still have stuff encrypted to this key you need!

Hi Enigmail,

I always thought that the Enigmail key manager only displayed 2 columns (Name,
Key ID) but Ludwig's reply caused me to look again.

It took me 5 minutes to find the tiny icon which permits you to select another
5 columns. This is very well disguised. The first place I looked was in the
key manager 'view' menu item but there is no way to find the extra columns in
any of the File, Edit, View, Keyserver or Generate text items on this bar.

Strangely enough as well, I cannot display all seven columns at once.
Selecting the fingerprint column, kills the name column. The screen is wide
enough.
