Can't find my entice sources, but long time ago i made some changes,
zooming related.
piece:
scale -= 0.5;
if (scale < 0.5)
scale = 0.5;
e_handle_resize();
IMHO should be replaced with scale /=0.8;
and scale *=1.25; otherwise.
changes should be made in both buttons.c and event.c
