my git master/HEAD build, it is giving me an error about this being
NULL with the old-fashioned ecore magic checks.
this happened while running ELM_ENGINE=fb.

Hi all,
In elm_win.c (git head) we get an ecore magic fail due calling
ecore_evas_{show,hide)(sd->pointer.ee), which is always NULL as this
is never set.
what is this supposed to be? Should this pointer be deleted and also
associated calls? should we check for these pointers being !NULL?

min size is set as an implicit bi-product of the widgets packed into the window
as resize objects and their min/max si
yes, I'm aware that it's not min size, though elm does not provide any
method for directly setting those either.
reading through 1.7 branch, however, I see nothing that's applying the base
size or any other ICCCM hints that you're allowed to set. if it's in trunk,
great.

umm no - this works... because ummm terminology uses it.. and it
it seems that any elm_win functions which set icccm window hints, such as
elm_win_size_base_set(), do nothing, and never have. I'm assuming this is
not intentional?

Just wondering if there are plans to make an elm_win_centered_set ? Or
if this is even desired...isn't rocket science, but seems odd that
something so obvious is missing from Elementary which makes me think
that there is/was a reason...
Thoughts ?
