It gets updated every build but it was building from a different branch.
I switched back to master now so you should see the latest failures.

Another difference might be that the Jenkins job uses the 1.17 default
theme (we might want to switch to 1.18 nowadays)

Here is how the snipped from the build looks like:

   rm -rf exactness-elm-data
   git clone git://git.enlightenment.org/tools/exactness-elm-data.git
   sed -i -e 's@elementary_test@src/bin/elementary/elementary_test@g'
exactness-elm-data/default-profile/tests.txt

   rm -rf results/
   mkdir results
   cp -r exactness-elm-data/default-profile/orig/ results/

   make lcov-reset
   make lcov-baseline

   destdir/bin/exactness -j 10 -w "ELM_PROFILE=default
ELM_THEME=exactness-elm-data/default-theme-1.17.edj" -b
"exactness-elm-data/default-profile/recordings" -d "results" -p
exactness-elm-data/default-profile/tests.txt || true

   make lcov-report

If you are actively going to work on this again and want to make is
successful on Jenkins I have no problem to change these things back.
The only reason for using the separate branch and the stable theme was
to sort out some of the moving parts to get anywhere.

I started a new build (54) just now which uses master from the exactness
data repo but still the 1.17 theme. Let me know what you expect here.

Hi,

Thank you guys to have brought Jenkins/Exactness back to life.

I checked the screenshots and it seems to be some issue with fonts, kind of
freetype is not the last version. Can you tell me which version you are using
there and how I can convince you to upgrade it :-) ?

Hello.

Summary:

o No new coverity reports. We submitted new builds but the Coverity
server has a big backlog right now (around 100 builds in front our ours)

Hmm, not sure I agree here. Waiting two days with the release just to
have updated coverity stats? So far we have not even mentioned them in

I had to disable the lcov-check run on Jenkins as it was getting stuck
during the build. I also had OOM problems with it before. A bit hard to

Can we stop including counts for projects which haven't successfully built
in the past 1-2 weeks? Every time this goes out I go to check the build and
sit there scratching my head until I notice it hasn't built since last
month.

I always hope things get resolved soon, but I in the latest past that
was not the case. Its a fair request to not report projects where no

Thanks for this.

I am confused about the results page. It claims there are 12 defects
outstanding, but there are zero unresolved defects available in the list.
Is there more information available?

Re: [E-devel] Weekly news from the automated build and QA front

2016-03-22 Thread Stefan Schmidt
Hello.

On 21/03/16 16:26, Mike Blumenkrantz wrote:
> The Enlightenment build hasn't updated in over a week; the page says that
> something is not configured. Are you aware of this?

The not fully configured part is something you can ignore here. We do
not have components setup neither a modeling file. Both are not needed
for the normal operation and it works like this since we started with
Coverity.

Now back to the question why the build have not been updated since the
13th. There are three possible options why a new build gets not in every
night:
1) The project reached the maximum number of builds per week already.
This is based on the size of the project. With 280K lines of code E is
allowed 8 builds per week (this was less before) so we normally should
not see this problem for the one build per night setup we have.
2) Coverity scan service has problems and does not accept builds.
3) The E nightly build was never run. This could be because a) one of
the nightly builds triggering the E nightly build failed (efl or elm) or
b) because the E nightly build itself failed.

Looking at the E nightly trigger build it is clear that the reason here
is 3a as the build did not run since the 13th.
https://build.enlightenment.org/view/Nightly/job/nightly_e_trigger/

The nightly build for efl and elm have been making trouble lately. I
manually started a e nightly now. Hopefully this will get through.
