Despite what you may think and say, there was no picture. If you
tried to send a picture through the mailing list, I assure you that
it was scrubbed most effectively by the SF filter. All pictures must
  be sent directly to me.

Confirmed, no photo arrived through the mailing list.

As for beard contests, my beard is likely older than you, and is
definitely old enough look after itself. B-)

I received the photo after this was sent.

Also, I am not very old, so it's very probable that your beard is older than
me, and probably crafty enough to kill me in my sleep.

 Hi,

If you are, or have been, an Enlightenment developer at any
point and have had a beard, please mail me a picture of
yourself (headshots preferred) with the beard if possible.
If I receive a sufficient number of pictures, they will be
shown publicly (but not individually) during my LinuxCon
 presentation.
 There you go:

 Thanks
 You're welcome.

 See you soon!

Just to confirm, you sent me a newline. Am I to understand
that a picture of Leif with a beard is a newline?

It's a new beard, barely one hair, just a line really. So
 it's a new line.

Just like the saying: The early beard catches the worm.
Yeah, definitely need to get a raggle-taggle-hobo-hipster style
beard asap. Just kidding, I won't challenge you in an
beard-contest and a pic was definitely attached ;)
