I confirm this behavior on FreeBSD 11 (E21 & efl 1.18) and 10.2 (E19 & efl 1.17). On my notebook I revoked exec permissions from efreetd, if not the lifetime on battery was too short. For me the polling interval is about 3-5 secs too, far from 60 secs. Should we open a ticket? Peter On

Hi guys, today I commpiled the efl 1.8.3, elementary 1.8.2 and E18 1.8.0. and I'm noticing E18 CPu consumption above 25% while idle, all the time. I thought that my video drivers were not working, but they do: $ glxinfo | grep -i opengl OpenGL vendor string: NVIDIA Corporation OpenGL renderer

[e-users] High CPU usage with composite settings

Hi, When Settings-Composite window is opened, CPU usage zooms - freq. switches to high and one core becomes 100% busy, fan full-speed. And composite styles don't seem to make any difference. Am I missing something? Arvind R.
