I usually install all in /opt/e17 so I just have to delete the entire dir and I'm done. This means that you have to tweak your environment to avoid issues. I did set these two variables in my ~/.profile: PKG_CONFIG_PATH=$PKG_CONFIG_PATH:/opt/e17/lib/pkgconfig
