gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I../.. -I/usr/local/include/freetype2
-I/usr/local/include -I/usr/X11R6/include -I. -I../.. -I../..
As a workaround, you can disable the mmx option before compiling.

I'm trying to build imlib2 on a SLES10 system without X installed.
'configure' complains that it cannot find X and recommends running it
again with the option '--without-x'. Doing so produces the same error,
likewise for '--with-x=no'.
How do you compile it without X?
