After setting the shelf back to Below Everything it works fine again.
Has anyone experienced this behaviour, too?

happens.
My system is a FreeBSD 8.0 amd64 and e17 was installed via easy_e17
script.

How can I make the num lock be automatically on when the E17 starts?
you can set the numlock on cmd via:
numlockx on
if you start your X with startx put this command into your ~/.xinitrc
else you can create an .desktop file and add it to the startup list of
e17.
