You need to install them as root, or chown root + chmod +s (ie: set suid bit) so helper binaries (enlightenment_sys, batget, tempget) have root capabilities to execute their tasks. I don't have batget or tempget, but I do have enlightment_sys, and it's already suid root. Also, I installed it as root to begin with in the default prefix (/usr/local). no idea then... you'd need to gdb + strace it to see what is failing. You should have a sysactions.conf that should provide commands to be used by enlightenment_sys, try to check those. -- Gustavo Sverzut Barbieri http://profusion.mobi embedded systems -- MSN: barbi...@gmail.com Skype: gsbarbieri Mobile: +55 (19) 9225-2202 -- Crystal Reports - New Free Runtime and 30 Day Trial Check out the new simplified licensing option that enables unlimited royalty-free distribution of the report engine for externally facing server and web deployment. http://p.sf.net/sfu/businessobjects ___ enlightenment-users mailing list enlightenment-users@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/enlightenment-users
