No, they don't activate *your* camera (AFAIK). What can happen is that if a Facebook member posts your picture, even in a group picture, and attaches your name, then Facebook may extract your face and name and use it in other contexts, like another picture including you. Many cameras having GPS,

FF ESR - Slack Support Group? I don't see any spam on this list, but then I have set up a separate email address just for ESR. (And I set up separate emails for most such groups.) Also, I am always suspicious of aggregating, cross topic providers taking steps to fully preserve user privacy
