Have you modified any sandbox preferences:?
In about:config, check security.sandbox.content.level
Does it work in safe mode or a new profile?

I have a problem. Upgrading from Mozilal 52 to 78 doesn't upgrade the
existing profile, but it creates a new one without the old bookmarks,
etc
